*Introducing NCC at PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya ITBP Karera: Empowering Youth Through Discipline and Service*

In a bid to instill discipline, foster leadership skills, and promote national unity, Prime Minister Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya ITBP Karera took a significant stride by introducing the National Cadet Corps (NCC) in the academic session of 2023-24. This initiative aimed to provide students with a platform to serve their nation while developing their overall personality.

In its inaugural year, 25 enthusiastic cadets embraced the ethos of the NCC program. Among them, 17 young boys enrolled in the JD category, showcasing their commitment to the ideals of duty and discipline. Complementing this dedication were 8 girls who enrolled in the JW category, marking a step towards gender inclusivity and empowerment within the organization.

Currently in their second year, these cadets have exemplified the core values of the NCC – unity, discipline, and service. Through various training modules, including drills, physical fitness activities, and social service initiatives, they have honed their leadership skills and developed a strong sense of camaraderie.

Building upon the success of its inaugural year, the PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya ITBP Karera continues its journey with NCC in the academic session of 2024-25. Once again, 25 cadets have enthusiastically enrolled, following the same pattern of gender diversity and dedication to the principles of the NCC.

As these cadets progress through their NCC journey, they not only enhance their individual capabilities but also contribute to the larger cause of nation-building. The values imbibed through NCC – leadership, teamwork, and selfless service – resonate not just within the confines of the school but echo in the broader community, inspiring others to follow suit.

With each passing year, the NCC program at PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya ITBP Karera reaffirms its commitment to shaping young minds into responsible citizens who are not only academically adept but also morally upright and socially conscious. Through NCC, the school continues to nurture a generation of youth poised to lead with integrity and serve their nation with pride.
