Commissioner, Ms. Prachi Pandey, IA&AS
Dear Teachers,
Heartfelt wishes on Teachers’ Day 2025.
A teacher is much more than a guide in academics; they are the architect of a child’s future. From helping a child trace the first alphabet to guiding them through life’s important decisions, teachers walk every step with patience, empathy, and support. They shape not just minds, but values, dreams, and aspirations that define the destiny of our nation.

Mrs. Shahida Parveen
Deputy Commissioner
Dear Students, Parents, Teachers, and the Entire Kendriya Vidyalaya Family, Warm greetings to all of you. A very hearty welcome to you all on the website of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Bhopal Region. This platform is not just a center for information and resources, but also a reflection of our shared educational vision, values, and efforts. It gives me immense pleasure to share that Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Bhopal Region, under the guidance of KVS (HQ) New Delhi, is continuously moving towards its goal of setting the highest standards of excellence in the field of national education. In a diverse country like India, education is not merely a means of imparting knowledge – it is also a medium to promote social harmony, moral values, and a sense of duty towards the nation. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan was established by the Government of India in 1963 with the objective of providing quality, continuous, and uniform education to the children of defence personnel, paramilitary forces, central government employees, and other transferable employees. Today, KVS has become a strong chain of schools not only across India but also abroad, where lakhs of students are studying and thousands of teachers are imparting knowledge, values, and life skills to them. Our nation’s New Education Policy (NEP 2020) calls for a transformational change in the education system. It not only focuses on curriculum and examination reforms but also advocates for inclusive, multidisciplinary, and student-centered learning. KVS, adopting the guiding principles of NEP 2020, has launched several significant initiatives, such as: • Implementing Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) in primary classes. • Promoting multilingualism. • Integrating Art and Sports into classroom teaching. Emphasis is being placed on 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and digital literacy. These efforts are aimed at preparing students not just for examinations, but for life. Our teachers are not just knowledge-givers; they are also mentors, guides, and motivators. The role of a teacher is no longer limited to teaching the curriculum – they ignite curiosity, inspire self-learning, and shape students into responsible citizens. Our teachers are committed to keeping their teaching updated and effective through continuous training programs, workshops, and innovations. We are proud to have such dedicated teachers working tirelessly for the bright future of our children. KVS students are known across the country for their competence, discipline, and moral values. Their outstanding performance in various board examinations, remarkable achievements in science, sports, arts, and culture, as well as their presence at national and international platforms, fill us with pride. Our effort is to understand the unique qualities and interests of every student and provide them opportunities to reach their fullest potential. The focus of our schools is no longer only on bookish knowledge but on the holistic development of every child. We are living in the era of a digital revolution, and education has not remained untouched by it. Particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, KVS made commendable efforts in adopting technology for online education. We effectively implemented e-content, virtual classrooms, teacher-created digital resources, and platforms like SWAYAM. Moving forward, we will continue to make teaching and learning more engaging, inclusive, and impactful through technology. Additionally, to promote innovation, our schools conduct activities such as ATL (Atal Tinkering Labs), Coding Clubs, and Robotics Workshops. KVS places great importance on transparency, accountability, and community participation in its administrative and academic activities. Parent participation in school management committees, open meetings at the school level, and feedback collection processes guide us in improving our working systems. We request parents to actively participate in school activities, stay in touch with teachers, and provide their children with a positive environment at home. The aim of KVS is not only academic excellence but also building an education system that: • Prepares students to become global citizens, • Develops in them sensitivity and empathy, • Inspires them toward innovation and entrepreneurship, • And teaches them to embrace India’s glorious cultural heritage while keeping pace with modern technology. We wish to ensure that our schools embody the triad of Knowledge, Character, and Service and contribute to building an India that is educated, empowered, and prosperous. In conclusion, I would like to tell all students – to make your dreams come true, let hard work, discipline, and self-confidence be your constant companions. Every challenge is an opportunity, and every failure is a stepping stone to learning. I expect teachers to continue playing a strong role in making students’ lives valuable and meaningful. I request parents to work hand-in-hand with the school to help build a strong and bright future. Let us all work together to create an educational environment where every student becomes a self-respecting, capable, and sensitive citizen who can contribute to the service of the nation. Thank you. (Shahida Parveen) Deputy Commissioner Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Bhopal Region

Mr. Ashok Kumar Saraswat
Principal
Kendriya Vidyalaya Karera stands for ‘value and quality educations’. Here in K.V. Karera the focus is laid upon the holistic approach, which leads to the development of integrated human being by bringing forth the full potential of the child. Our Endeavour is towards creating an atmosphere where each one would get an opportunity to explore his inherent talent, come up with the new ideas and experiment to the high degree fo excellence, set a new milestone for oneself. You know without experiment nothing new can be discovered. If Thomas Edison had ceased his experiments, he would never have inverted the electric bulb. So, it is by trying hands at new things and by trying to create something new that one moves towards his goals. I always advocate the 3D formula for my students i.e. destination, determination & diligence, if one adopts these 3Ds in his life, nothing is impossible for him to achieve. “The future is not some place we are going. But the one we create. The path to success in not found, but made..../” With warm regards and best wishes. Dr. Darshan Lal Meena,
